106. Surah Quraysh (Quraysh)
سُورَةُ قريشReciter: Sheikh Mishary Rashid Alafasy • Guided by Ustadha Fatima Al-Zahra
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
لِإِيلَٰفِliīlāfiFor (the) familiarity
قُرَيْشٍqurayshin(of the) Quraish
For the accustomed security of the Quraysh —
إِۦلَٰفِهِمْīlāfihimTheir familiarity
رِحْلَةَriḥ'lata(with the) journey
ٱلشِّتَآءِl-shitāi(of) winter
وَٱلصَّيْفِwal-ṣayfiand summer
Their accustomed security [in] the caravan of winter and summer —
فَلْيَعْبُدُوا۟falyaʿbudūSo let them worship
رَبَّrabba(the) Lord
هَٰذَاhādhā(of) this
ٱلْبَيْتِl-baytiHouse
Let them worship the Lord of this House,
ٱلَّذِىٓalladhīThe One Who
أَطْعَمَهُمaṭʿamahumfeeds them
مِّنminagainst
جُوعٍjūʿinhunger
وَءَامَنَهُمwaāmanahumand gives them security
مِّنْminfrom
خَوْفٍۭkhawfinfear
Who has fed them, [saving them] from hunger and made them safe, [saving them] from fear.
