23. Surah Al-Mu'minun (The Believers)
سُورَةُ المؤمنونReciter: Sheikh Mishary Rashid Alafasy • Guided by Ustadha Maryam Al-Dimashqiyyah
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
قَدْqadCertainly
أَفْلَحَaflaḥahave succeeded
ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَl-mu'minūnathe believers
Certainly will the believers have succeeded:
ٱلَّذِينَalladhīnaThose who
هُمْhumthey
فِىfīin
صَلَاتِهِمْṣalātihimtheir prayer
خَٰشِعُونَkhāshiʿūna(are) humbly submissive
They who are during their prayer humbly submissive
وَٱلَّذِينَwalladhīnaAnd those who
هُمْhumthey
عَنِʿanifrom
ٱللَّغْوِl-laghwivain talk
مُعْرِضُونَmuʿ'riḍūnaturn away
And they who turn away from ill speech
وَٱلَّذِينَwalladhīnaAnd those who
هُمْhumthey
لِلزَّكَوٰةِlilzzakatifor Zakah
فَٰعِلُونَfāʿilūna(are) observant
And they who are observant of zakah
وَقُلwaqulAnd say
رَّبِّrabbiMy Lord
ٱغْفِرْigh'firforgive
وَٱرْحَمْwarḥamand have mercy
وَأَنتَwa-antaand You
خَيْرُkhayru(are the) Best
ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَl-rāḥimīna(of) the Merciful
And, [O Muhammad], say, 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful.'
