25. Surah Al-Furqan (The Criterion)
سُورَةُ الفرقانReciter: Sheikh Mishary Rashid Alafasy • Guided by Ustadha Maryam Al-Dimashqiyyah
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
تَبَارَكَtabārakaBlessed is
ٱلَّذِىalladhīthe One Who
نَزَّلَnazzalasent down
ٱلْفُرْقَانَl-fur'qānathe Criterion
عَلَىٰʿalāupon
عَبْدِهِۦʿabdihiHis Servant
لِيَكُونَliyakūnathat he may be
لِلْعَٰلَمِينَlil'ʿālamīnato the worlds
نَذِيرًاnadhīrana warner
Blessed is He who sent down the Criterion upon His Servant that he may be to the worlds a warner —
قُلْqulSay
مَاmāWhat
يَعْبَؤُا۟yaʿba-uwould care
بِكُمْbikumfor you
رَبِّىrabbīmy Lord
لَوْلَاlawlāwere it not for
دُعَآؤُكُمْduʿāukumyour supplication
فَقَدْfaqadBut indeed
كَذَّبْتُمْkadhabtumyou have denied
فَسَوْفَfasawfaso soon
يَكُونُyakūnuit will be
لِزَامًۢاlizāmaninevitable
Say, 'What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?' For you [disbelievers] have denied, so your denial is going to be adherent.
