26. Surah Ash-Shu'ara (The Poets)
سُورَةُ الشعراءReciter: Sheikh Mishary Rashid Alafasy • Guided by Ustadha Maryam Al-Dimashqiyyah
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
تِلْكَtil'kaThese
ءَايَٰتُāyātu(are the) verses
ٱلْكِتَٰبِl-kitābi(of) the Book
ٱلْمُبِينِl-mubīnithe clear
These are the verses of the clear Book.
إِلَّاillāExcept
ٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose who
ءَامَنُوا۟āmanūbelieve
وَعَمِلُوا۟waʿamilūand do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِl-ṣāliḥātirighteous deeds
وَذَكَرُوا۟wadhakarūand remember
ٱللَّهَl-lahaAllah
كَثِيرًاkathīranmuch
وَٱنتَصَرُوا۟waintaṣarūand defend themselves
مِنۢminafter
بَعْدِbaʿdiafter
مَاmāwhat
ظُلِمُوا۟ẓulimūthey were wronged
وَسَيَعْلَمُwasayaʿlamuAnd soon will know
ٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose who
ظَلَمُوٓا۟ẓalamūdid wrong
أَىَّayya(to) what
مُنقَلَبٍmunqalabinreturn
يَنقَلِبُونَyanqalibūnathey will be returned
Except those [poets] who believe and do righteous deeds and remember Allah often and defend [themselves] after they were wronged. And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned.
