67. Surah Al-Mulk (The Sovereignty)
سُورَةُ الملكReciter: Sheikh Mishary Rashid Alafasy • Guided by Ustadha Fatima Al-Zahra
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
تَبَٰرَكَtabārakaBlessed is
ٱلَّذِىalladhīthe One
بِيَدِهِbiyadihiin Whose Hand
ٱلْمُلْكُl-mul'ku(is) the dominion
وَهُوَwahuwaand He
عَلَىٰʿalā(is) over
كُلِّkullievery
شَىْءٍshayinthing
قَدِيرٌqadīrunAll-Powerful
Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion, and He is over all things competent —
ٱلَّذِىalladhīThe One Who
خَلَقَkhalaqacreated
ٱلْمَوْتَl-mawtadeath
وَٱلْحَيَوٰةَwal-ḥayataand life
لِيَبْلُوَكُمْliyabluwakumto test you
أَيُّكُمْayyukumwhich of you
أَحْسَنُaḥsanu(is) best
عَمَلًاʿamalanin deed
وَهُوَwahuwaand He
ٱلْعَزِيزُl-ʿazīzu(is) the All-Mighty
ٱلْغَفُورُl-ghafūruthe Oft-Forgiving
[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed — and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving —
قُلْqulSay
أَرَءَيْتُمْara-aytumHave you considered
إِنْinif
أَصْبَحَaṣbaḥabecomes
مَآؤُكُمْmāukumyour water
غَوْرًاghawransunken
فَمَنfamanthen who
يَأْتِيكُمyatīkumcould bring you
بِمَآءٍbimāinwater
مَّعِينٍۭmaʿīninflowing
Say, 'Have you considered: if your water was to become sunken [into the earth], then who could bring you flowing water?'
