79. Surah An-Nazi'at (Those who drag forth)
سُورَةُ النازعاتReciter: Sheikh Mishary Rashid Alafasy • Guided by Ustadha Fatima Al-Zahra
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
وَٱلنَّٰزِعَٰتِwal-nāziʿātiBy those who extract
غَرْقًاgharqanviolently
By those [angels] who extract with violence
وَٱلنَّٰشِطَٰتِwal-nāshiṭātiAnd those who draw out
نَشْطًاnashṭangently
And [by] those who remove with ease
وَٱلسَّٰبِحَٰتِwal-sābiḥātiAnd those who glide
سَبْحًاsabḥanswimming
And [by] those who glide [as if] swimming
كَأَنَّهُمْka-annahumAs though they
يَوْمَyawma(the) Day
يَرَوْنَهَاyarawnahāthey see it
لَمْlam(had) not
يَلْبَثُوٓا۟yalbathūremained
إِلَّاillāexcept
عَشِيَّةًʿashiyyatanan evening
أَوْawor
ضُحَىٰهَاḍuḥāhāits morning
It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof.
