16. Surah An-Nahl (The Bee)
سُورَةُ النحلReciter: Sheikh Mishary Rashid Alafasy • Guided by Ustadha Maryam Al-Dimashqiyyah
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
أَتَىٰٓatāHas come
أَمْرُamru(the) command
ٱللَّهِl-lahi(of) Allah
فَلَاfalāso (do) not
تَسْتَعْجِلُوهُtastaʿjilūhuseek to hasten it
سُبْحَٰنَهُۥsub'ḥānahuGlorified is He
وَتَعَٰلَىٰwataʿālāand Exalted
عَمَّاʿammāabove what
يُشْرِكُونَyush'rikūnathey associate
The command of Allah is coming, so be not impatient for it. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.
يُنَزِّلُyunazziluHe sends down
ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَl-malāikatathe angels
بِٱلرُّوحِbil-rūḥiwith the inspiration
مِنْminof
أَمْرِهِۦamrihiHis command
عَلَىٰʿalāupon
مَنmanwhom
يَشَآءُyashāuHe wills
مِنْminof
عِبَادِهِۦٓʿibādihiHis servants
أَنْanthat
أَنذِرُوٓا۟andhirūWarn
أَنَّهُۥannahuthat
لَآlā(there is) no
إِلَٰهَilāhagod
إِلَّآillāexcept
أَنَا۠anāMe
فَٱتَّقُونِfattaqūniso fear Me
He sends down the angels, with the inspiration of His command, upon whom He wills of His servants, [telling them], 'Warn that there is no deity except Me; so fear Me.'
إِنَّinnaIndeed
ٱللَّهَl-lahaAllah
مَعَmaʿa(is) with
ٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose who
ٱتَّقَوا۟ittaqawfear Him
وَّٱلَّذِينَwalladhīnaand those who
هُمhumthey
مُّحْسِنُونَmuḥ'sinūna(are) doers of good
Indeed, Allah is with those who fear Him and those who are doers of good.
