71. Surah Nuh (Noah)
سُورَةُ نوحReciter: Sheikh Mishary Rashid Alafasy • Guided by Ustadha Fatima Al-Zahra
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
إِنَّآinnāIndeed, We
أَرْسَلْنَاarsalnāsent
نُوحًاnūḥanNuh
إِلَىٰilāto
قَوْمِهِۦٓqawmihihis people
أَنْanthat
أَنذِرْandhirWarn
قَوْمَكَqawmakayour people
مِنminbefore
قَبْلِqablibefore
أَنanthat
يَأْتِيَهُمْyatiyahumcomes to them
عَذَابٌʿadhābuna punishment
أَلِيمٌalīmunpainful
Indeed, We sent Noah to his people, [saying], 'Warn your people before there comes to them a painful punishment.'
رَّبِّrabbiMy Lord
ٱغْفِرْigh'firforgive
لِىlīme
وَلِوَٰلِدَىَّwaliwālidayyaand my parents
وَلِمَنwalimanand whoever
دَخَلَdakhalaenters
بَيْتِىَbaytiyamy house
مُؤْمِنًاmu'minan(as) a believer
وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَwalil'mu'minīnaand the believing men
وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِwal-mu'minātiand the believing women
وَلَاwalāand (do) not
تَزِدِtazidiincrease
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَl-ẓālimīnathe wrongdoers
إِلَّاillāexcept
تَبَارًۢاtabāran(in) destruction
My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction.
