72. Surah Al-Jinn (The Jinn)
سُورَةُ الجنReciter: Sheikh Mishary Rashid Alafasy • Guided by Ustadha Fatima Al-Zahra
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
قُلْqulSay
أُوحِىَūḥiyaIt has been revealed
إِلَىَّilayyato me
أَنَّهُannahuthat
ٱسْتَمَعَis'tamaʿalistened
نَفَرٌnafaruna group
مِّنَminaof
ٱلْجِنِّl-jinithe jinn
فَقَالُوٓا۟faqālūand said
إِنَّاinnāIndeed, we
سَمِعْنَاsamiʿ'nāhave heard
قُرْءَانًاqur'ānana Qur'an
عَجَبًاʿajabanamazing
Say, [O Muhammad], 'It has been revealed to me that a group of the jinn listened and said, Indeed, we have heard an amazing Qur'an.'
لِّيَعْلَمَliyaʿlamaThat He may know
أَنanthat
قَدْqadindeed
أَبْلَغُوا۟ablaghūthey have conveyed
رِسَٰلَٰتِrisālāti(the) messages
رَبِّهِمْrabbihim(of) their Lord
وَأَحَاطَwa-aḥāṭaand He has encompassed
بِمَاbimāwhatever
لَدَيْهِمْladayhim(is) with them
وَأَحْصَىٰwa-aḥṣāand has enumerated
كُلَّkullaevery
شَىْءٍshayinthing
عَدَدًۢاʿadadan(in) number
That he may know that they have conveyed the messages of their Lord; and He has encompassed whatever is with them and has enumerated all things in number.
