91. Surah Ash-Shams (The Sun)
سُورَةُ الشمسReciter: Sheikh Mishary Rashid Alafasy • Guided by Ustadha Fatima Al-Zahra
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
وَٱلشَّمْسِwal-shamsiBy the sun
وَضُحَىٰهَاwaḍuḥāhāand its brightness
By the sun and its brightness
وَٱلْقَمَرِwal-qamariAnd the moon
إِذَاidhāwhen
تَلَىٰهَاtalāhāit follows it
And [by] the moon when it follows it
وَلَاwalāAnd not
يَخَافُyakhāfuHe fears
عُقْبَٰهَاʿuq'bāhāits consequence
And He does not fear the consequence thereof.
