98. Surah Al-Bayyinah (The Clear Proof)
سُورَةُ البينةReciter: Sheikh Mishary Rashid Alafasy • Guided by Ustadha Fatima Al-Zahra
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
لَمْlamNot
يَكُنِyakuniwere
ٱلَّذِينَalladhīnathose who
كَفَرُوا۟kafarūdisbelieved
مِنْminfrom
أَهْلِahli(the) People
ٱلْكِتَٰبِl-kitābi(of) the Book
وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَwal-mush'rikīnaand the polytheists
مُنفَكِّينَmunfakkīnato be parted
حَتَّىٰḥattāuntil
تَأْتِيَهُمُtatiyahumucame to them
ٱلْبَيِّنَةُl-bayyinatuthe clear evidence
Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to be parted [from misbelief] until there came to them clear evidence —
جَزَآؤُهُمْjazāuhumTheir reward
عِندَʿindawith
رَبِّهِمْrabbihimtheir Lord
جَنَّٰتُjannātu(is) Gardens
عَدْنٍʿadnin(of) Eternity
تَجْرِىtajrīflow
مِنminfrom
تَحْتِهَاtaḥtihāunderneath them
ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُl-anhāruthe rivers
خَٰلِدِينَkhālidīnawill abide
فِيهَآfīhātherein
أَبَدًاabadanforever
رَّضِىَraḍiyaWell-pleased is
ٱللَّهُl-lahuAllah
عَنْهُمْʿanhumwith them
وَرَضُوا۟waraḍūand they are well-pleased
عَنْهُʿanhuwith Him
ذَٰلِكَdhālikaThat
لِمَنْliman(is) for whoever
خَشِىَkhashiyafeared
رَبَّهُۥrabbahuhis Lord
Their reward with their Lord will be gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allah being pleased with them and they with Him. That is for whoever has feared his Lord.
